From the moment I read the first page, I was hooked. I usually try to relate to the protagonist and sometimes I do find a thing or two I can relate, but this story just had me doing a double take
I remember as a teen doing a lot of journal writing about things I wish I had the nerve to do but never had the chance too
I had that crush who I always made the leading man in all my stories and how much I wish they noticed me back
Even relating to our names. Not that my name was like hers, but I totally understood how a "unique" name definitely came with some moments of "how did they allow my parents to name me that!?"
I can't even imagine how hard it must be to start all over again and coming home after basically living your dreams.
And... What can I say about Levi?
He definitely is a great example of how you can change your entire life around for good, even when you have always saw yourself as a complete failure and disappointment to your own family.
This book had a bit of everything and I kept wondering who I would cast if I were making this into a movie or TV show.
It's not an easy book to read because it deals with a lot of stuff but it's totally a great book to jump in.

This book was a whirlwind of drama and mystery. At one point I was starting to think that even the narrator was unreliable because of the things they described. I could totally see someone like Mike Flanagan taking on this book as a TV miniseries. Great characters and I couldn't resist reading one more chapter.

My daughter looks forward to receiving this box every month!!!

This was my first Once Upon a Book Club Box. Decided to start with a seasonal themed one.

The gifts were beautiful. I felt the first two were maybe out of order? But I really appreciate the practicality of them. My third gift got packaged upside down so it kinda fell out everywhere at first haha. One of the gifts was something I have been looking for all season so it was a nice surprise.

The book was beautiful and fun. Wasn’t any shakespeare, but it is definitely a re-read for me. It was a quick paced and fun story and definitely fits the theme. I’m sad it’s over now because this was a lot of fun.

Shipping was a little slow unfortunately to Canada. but it was otherwise packaged nicely. No damage whatsoever. I appreciate the box itself is the shipping box.

I’m definitely recommending this concept to my friends and will probably be buying these more often as a treat.

FYI- I ended up purchasing the spooky Halloween book separately and it’s also a great read. I just wanted ‘cute Halloween’ gifts. and this did not disappoint.

My Roommate Is A Vampire, is an adorable/cozy romance with hilarious moments. I highly recommend this box based on the one-of-a-kind gifts! Honestly, I will be using two of the gifts every time spooky season comes around! Can't wait to enjoy another box.

This book really makes you think how difficult it can be for disabled individuals. Great lesson for sure, definitely opened up my eyes. Gifts were cute and went along with the story, as always. Not my favorite gifts but still cute. The book itself, i would 100% recommend reading.

Honestly, I'd buy this box just for the gifts! The book was good but definitely needs a heads up that it's got some "steamy" parts so might not be good for younger eyes.

If you love thrillers, this is a great book to read. Of course, gifts go along with the story, which i love. I read this book within a day. I couldn't put it down until i found out what happened.

I read this whole book in one weekend. The writing style is beautiful! Such a conection, I felt like part of their families. Made the bread too! The gifts are spot on.
