Part of our Summer 2024 collection, a gorgeous, exclusively designed set of whiskey glasses inspired by four pieces of classic literature. Each glass is designed to inspire its holder to remember the tale it represents, and the tortured main characters of each story as they faced their personal trials and worked toward self-redemption.

Every set includes four standard-sized whiskey glasses each printed with a different book title and author on the front of each glass and a quote on the back. Moby Dick by Herman Melville features the quote: “There is no folly of the beast of the earth which is not infinitely outdone by the madness of man.” Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky features the quote: “Existence alone had never been enough for him; he had always wanted more. Perhaps it was only from the force of his desires that he had regarded himself as a man to whom more was permitted than to others.” The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle features the quote: “How often have I said to you that when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?” The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger features the quote: “The mark of the immature man is that he wants to die nobly for a cause, while the mark of the mature man is that he wants to live humbly for one.”

Moby Dick is the story of Captain Ahab's self-destructive obsession with the white whale called Moby Dick. It is told through the narration of Ishmael, a sailor new to Ahab's ship, the Pequod. The plot of the novel follows Ahab's manic drive to kill the whale, even as it endangers his crew.

Crime and Punishment follows the mental anguish and moral dilemmas of Rodion Raskolnikov, an impoverished ex-student in Saint Petersburg who plans to kill an unscrupulous pawnbroker, an old woman who stores money and valuable objects in her flat.

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is a collection of twelve short stories featuring the famous detective Sherlock Holmes and his loyal friend, Dr. Watson. Set in late 19th-century London, the book follows Holmes as he solves a series of complex and intriguing cases using his keen powers of observation and deduction.

The Catcher in the Rye details two days in the life of 16-year-old Holden Caulfield after he has been expelled from prep school. Confused and disillusioned, Holden searches for truth and rails against the “phoniness” of the adult world.
