Step 1: Select Your Favorite Romantic Quote

There are so many romantic quotes that resonate with our hearts. Take, for instance, a quote from Kristin Hannah's The Four Winds—"Love is what remains when everything else is gone." We can’t wait to read her latest novel—hint, hint!

And who can help but love these quotes from one of our favorite collections—Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series! Here are a few to inspire you:

  • “Love's about finding the one person who makes your heart complete. Who makes you a better person than you ever dreamed you could be.” The Viscount Who Loved Me
  • “I love you with everything I am, everything I've been, and everything I hope to be. I love you with my past, and I love you for my future.” Romancing Mister Bridgerton
  • "The best kind of kisses are the ones that catch you off guard and leave you breathless." It’s In His Kiss

There are so many options—pick your favorite line from a classic love story, a modern day romance, or even a treasured line from a poem. The options are endless!

Add to that a pile of photos, magazines, scissors, and glue and you are ready for action. Even if we’re designing on our laptops, we still love to cover our table with items that inspire us.

Step 5: Sketch Your Design

We know you can’t wait to get going, and perhaps you want to create as you go, but we recommend starting off by sketching your design on paper. This is great as you can visualize and play around with your design until it’s perfect. And then the fun begins!
